ABOUT IFP/PHX

In 2006, the Phoenix Film Project became a chapter of the prestigious Independent Feature Project (IFP) and was re-named IFP/PHX.  With its original goals of creating a thriving independent filmmaking community in Arizona, the creation of IFP/PHX adds national benefits and exposure to its members.  Education, discounts, networking and exhibition opportunities are staples on the calendar of events.

IFP/PHX is a 501c3 under the Phoenix Film Foundation and is a proud sibling of the Phoenix Film Festival, the Phoenix Film Society, the Arizona Student Film Festival and the International Horror/Sci-Fi Festival.

Membership in today's IFP is the key to an indie filmmaker's career and the smart move for industry execs looking to stay on top of new developments. For networking, exposure, project tracking, talent discovery, and invaluable financing and production information, IFP is the foremost link between the creative and business communities.
